IDOTG is a high holiday around here. This time last year Nasdaq’s Chief Digital Officer Sehr Thadhani had the idea for an International Day of the Girl Opening Bell and called us to partner up! This year, we are still doing the work of supporting women and girls. We are in production on a series of films about abortion access with Karlie Kloss and Phoebe Gates (more on that in a few weeks), we are working to make VP Kamala Harris our first Madam President (more on that below), and overall running a women owned company and trying to create as much opportunity as we can - for all of us.
This week, Culture House Immersive was getting busy in Florida. Where the team spent several pre-Milton days in Orlando innovating and sharing the story of the immersive future of fandom.

Mikhael (Culture House Immersive Co-Founder), Brie Moten (CHI Creative Producer), Kierna Conner (CHI Head of Talent Development), Shawn Taylor (Incubator Lead Artist), and Incubator Co-Producer Cameo Wood repped Culture House Immersive at the Halcy-Con this weekend in Orlando, Florida. The Halcy-con is like a mini Comicon organized and run by fans and past attendees of the legendary immersive experience the Galactic Star Cruiser. In Mikhael's talk on Imagining the Future of Immersive Together, she shared some of the spicy projects in development in our incubator. The weekend’s attendees came from as far as Belgium to celebrate a community that all began from a single shared experience and has endured for the many years since. That’s the power of fandom, building bridges, maintaining relationships across time and distance, and creating shared purpose that builds towards a shared future.
